During your first week of training, you don’t have to worry about purchasing a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi uniform right away! We’re more than happy to lend you one for just a £10 laundry fee. This way, you can dive into the world of BJJ and see if it’s the perfect fit for you before investing in your own Gi. After your first week, we encourage you to consider buying your own Gi. We have great prices available in our in-house store, and you can try them on before you buy! Plus, sometimes you can even get a FREE Gi when you purchase our Starter Pack. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of our friendly staff!
It's important to ensure your finger nails and toe nails are well kept. If you have longer hair we advise having it tied up in a ponytail or bun during classes. Please do not wear piercings or jewelry during your sessions as these can cause injury and/or get damaged.
As we’ve mentioned, it’s a great idea to arrive at least 15 minutes early! This way, you can introduce yourself and explore the school. Don’t forget to register on our system and book in, and then you’ll be all set to go! Before class begins, you’ll have the opportunity to change and stretch out on the mats. Just remember to have everything ready beforehand so you won’t miss a moment of the fun!
